Hosts Fourth Annual Ohio-West Virginia Senior All-Star Game

The 4th annual Ohio-West Virginia Senior All-Star Fastpitch Games will be played at the University of Rio Grande in June. All the players are 2009 high school grads. The three-game series will take place on Tuesday, June 9th, 2009.

Here is the final agenda for the 2009 Ohio vs. WV All Star Games
Monday, June 8th
Players arrive at the gym at 4:30
Practice from 5 to 7 at the field
Check into the dorm room 7 p.m.- Adult supervision in the dorms
Pizza at the gym after checking into the dorm
Return to rooms around 9:30
Tuesday, June 9th
Breakfast at Bob Evans at 8:30 a.m.
Return to rooms to dress for the games and check out of the room
Arrive at the field for warm-ups around 10:00 a.m.
First game at 11:30 a.m.
Cookout after first game
Followed by the second and third game
Day will end around 5:00

Ohio wins all three games for the third year

Scores: Ohio 7 - WV 4 , Ohio 10 - WV 2 , Ohio 9 - WV 3

Ohio won all three games in each of the first three years. Last year's squad featured players who are now playing at various Division I schools around Ohio and beyond, as well as Division II, NAIA and Division III schools.

Will be attending Wright State University in the fall of 2008. She plans on majoring in Education / Special Education.

Rachel LeMaster- Hamilton High School - Hamilton, Ohio

Rachel will be attending Miami University and majoring in Education / Special Education. Her goal is to be a Learning Disabilities tutor at the High School level.

Ashley Byers - Westerville South High School - Westerville, Ohio

Ashley will be attending Belmont University in Tennessee in the fall of 2008. Her major is undecided.

Samantha Woodall – Dublin Coffman High School – Dublin, Ohio

Samantha will be attending Morehead State University starting the fall of 2008. She plans to major in Accounting

Allie Patton - Poland Seminary High School - Poland, Ohio,

Allie will be attending Robert Morris University. She will major in Business, Finance or Accounting.

Brittany Dauterman- Bloomdale Elmwood High School - Bloomdale, Ohio

Brittany will be attending Findlay University in Ohio in the fall of 2008 She plans on majoring in Physical Therapy

Brittany Phillips - Brookville High School - Brookville , Ohio

Breanna Fisher - Northmont High School - Clayton , Ohio

Bteanna will attend Butler University and will be taking classes to become a special education teacher in the fall of 2008.
